Nissan to recall 540,000 vehicles globally

TOKYO (Reuters) - Nissan Motor Co, Japan's third-biggest car maker, said it will recall about 540,000 vehicles worldwide due to potential defects in brake pedal pins and fuel-gauge components, mostly in the United States.

My First Car Was .....

Well I bought my first car in 1973 it was a 1962 Chevy II. A white 2 door coupe, with a roaring in-line 6 and a 2 speed "slushamatic" tranny. Man I had plans for that car - it had a pretty sporty look to it and in my minds' eye it didn't take long to design a paint job. Does the "Starsky & Hutch" car trip anyones' memory?
